In Loving Memory of my Mother Leslie Kay Walton. My mom passed away when I was fifteen years old. It’s been twenty years since she’s been gone and as I sort through my adulthood, I can’t help but feel like I didn’t even get to know my mother. I have a lot of memories, some good, mostly bad. One thing I know is, how much my mom wanted to write and publish a book of her own. While writing my own book about various other things, I came across some things that my mother wrote and I wanted to make her dream a reality. Even though she may not be here, I know this is what she always wished for. And as I get to know myself, I am getting to know her through her journals and poetry. The artwork displayed in this book are all original drawings by my mom. Her passion was astounding.
